How to Optimize Facebook Workplace

Facebook has changed their layout once again. However, this time Facebook took out one of marketers favorite section. You know what I’m talking about. The About you section! In this area you could put a nice call to action to your fanpage.

Facebook has the new layout defaulted to either a community or a workplace. But what if you want to have that link to your fanpage.

In this video I will show you how you can change the workplace to your fanpage.

I will show you Two ways.
1. You just go to profiles, edit profile, Education and Work. In the search bar type the name of your fanpage. Give it a second and see if it pulls up.

If this didn’t work try the second method.

Go to your fan page and get the page id #. It will be located on the bottom left side of your screen or at the end of the url.

You will need either Firefox or Google Chrome and download Web Developer plugin. This will give you a new tool bar
Once you have this installed go to your work place edit page. Go to Form, then Show Form Details. You will see HTML code, don’t be frightened. Go to the employment id and enter your page id, also in the page id.
