Facebook Status Tagging?

One of the most popular features on facebook is tagging, which gives you the ability to ID and reference people in photos, videos and notes.  Facebook now allows you to tag people in status updates and other post you publish.

However, you still want to be very careful on how you use tags.  For example , If you make a video and you post it on your wall and then you tag someone that was not in the video, that tag/post will receive a notification and a wall post linking them to your post.

To some this might be spamming. Plus using someone else’s  name to get your name out is not a good idea especially if you don’t know them or they didn’t give you the permission to do so.
